Christmas Dinner 2013

ESMOD Jakarta’s Christmas dinner is an annual event at the end of the year. The theme this year is asian. We’re free to dress up any way we want representing asian culture and subculture. We got the students dressing up in gothic lolita, harajuku style, pretty cheongsam, even cosplaying as Captain China!

Our students decorate the whole multifunction room! A ball-shaped wires with christmas lights is stacked to resemble a christmas tree. For the asian touch, we create origami birds and hang them on the wall.

Student, teacher, and staff are free to bring their own asian cuisine to the table. Our headmaster, Sir Patrice, brings his very own peking duck for us to savor. What a feast! We also gave out candy-coated apple for everyone.

As always, we held a karaoke contest and everyone is allowed to participate in the contest! Everyone sang along to the songs. It was one festive night!

The event is closed with karaoke contest winner announcement and exchanging gift. See you on Christmas dinner next year!
