Saint Catherine's Day 2013

It's that time of the year again, the highly anticipated annual event: Saint Catherine's Day!

For those unfamiliar with this celebration, Saint Catherine's Day is a day of celebration for the woman of the culture. In France, it is customary for unmarried women to pray for husbands, and to honor women who've reached 25 years of age but haven't married, called catherinettes. Friends of the catherinettes makes hat for them, traditionally using the colors green (wisdom) and yellow (faith).
This year we're going for urban tribe; geometric cutting, tribal patches, feathers, and beaded accessories. Colors ranging from monochromatic, earth colors with splash of bright, neon colors. Of course without forgetting the custom colors, green and yellow. Instead of hat parade, this year we're choosing mask to fit the theme.
The catherinettes.
Student performances!

See you on Saint Catherine's Day next year!
